A supplemental funding opportunity for RII Track-2 awardees designed to expand project networks is not available in this Dear Colleague Letter (DLC) NSF 21-078.

This DCL provides an opportunity to create connections with Minority serving Intuitions (MSIs) to help accomplish RII Track-2 project goals.

This may be done through two major mechanisms:

1) through recruitment of postdoctoral researchers from a Minority Serving Institution to anywhere within the PI’s RII Track-2 project OR by sending  a recent Ph.D. graduate researcher from the PI’s RII Track-2 project’s network to conduct a Postdoc at an already established or new MSI partner

2) Recruiting/including a new MSI partner into your RII Track-2 project
