NSF EPSCoR Students are invited to participate in a (free) Better Poster Science Communication workshop Coaching Session and poster competition, sponsored by the NSF EPSCoR EOD Council and the EPSCoR/IDeA Foundation on February 18th from 3PM – 6PM CST, attendees will sign up for 30-minute time slots to work one on one with a coach to enhance their poster presentation.
Participants in this workshop will receive individual consultation to either modify an existing research poster or create a new one, in the #BetterPoster format. The #BetterPoster movement has been featured in NPR and Inside Higher Ed.

All participants who complete the workshop will receive a certificate of completion.
After completing the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to enter their finished or new poster in a national competition to win Visa gift cards and have their poster featured on social media:
- Graduate students- 1st place ($100), 2nd place ($75), 3rd place ($50)
- Undergraduate students- 1st place ($100), 2nd place ($75), 3rd place ($50)
The competition will be judged by a panel including the NSF EPSCoR EOD Council and representatives from the EPSCoR/IDeA Foundation.
