For University of Kansas Assistant Research Professor Will Duncan, fall means more than pumpkin spice and football. This is the time of year when he recruits partners for the Kansas Data Science Consortium. Any organization in the state with unexplored data—from businesses to nonprofits—can partner with KDSC.
For example, last year the Lied Center teamed up with KDSC (for free!) to forage through its data and find ways to enhance fundraising and ticket sales.
Now, the Kansas Office of Registered Apprenticeship is tapping into decades of data thanks to KDSC. The findings could shape workforce investments statewide.
