Come learn about two exciting funding opportunities focused on resiliency and smart infrastructure.
Kansas NSF EPSCoR Director Belinda Sturm will discuss how to submit a proposal for the First Awards and REI Awards. She will also highlight the funding source, EPSCoR’s newest statewide program, called ARISE for “Adaptive and Resilient Infrastructures driven by Social Equity.”
Who should attend? Faculty from Kansas Board of Regents universities and Haskell Indian Nations University.
Funding opportunities to be discussed:
- First Awards help early career, tenure-track faculty launch novel research and become more competitive for federal research funding. Notice of Intent due November 29, 2022; Proposals due January 10, 2023.
- Research, Education, and Innovation (REI) Awards support small projects submitted by any faculty member from designated universities in Kansas. Proposals due January 10, 2023.
