ESTABLISHED PROGRAM TO STIMULATE COMPETITIVE RESEARCH
At Kansas NSF EPSCoR, we seek to enable scientific discovery and cultivate a diverse, talented workforce statewide. Our clunky acronym, NSF EPSCoR, stands for a clever strategy by the U. S. National Science Foundation known as the Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research. This program spurs innovation and opportunity in traditionally under-funded regions of the country—like Kansas. Currently, Track-1 proposals are submitted by Kansas NSF EPSCoR on behalf of the program partners in the state. Other NSF EPSCoR mechanisms include co-funding, workshops, and outreach.
