RII Track-3 Awards were piloted in 2013 to support the strategic goal of broadening participation to improve future Research and Development competitiveness of EPSCoR jurisdictions. These awards were intended to broaden participation of underrepresented minorities, women, persons with disabilities, and those in underserved rural regions of the country in STEM fields supported by NSF.
