Two Wichita news stations feature ARISE research at local cemetery
Assistant Professor Matthew Howland’s research on documenting mortuary segregation at Highland Cemetery got some news coverage recently!
With funding from an ARISE Research and Innovation Award, Howland collaborates with Dr. Blair Schneider of the Kansas Geological Survey who directed the geophysical survey at the Wichita, KS, cemetery to locate the remains of the city’s founder.
